Kevin submitted his first "NPR Tiny Desk Contest" video with an original titled "Ocean of You."
Kevin wrote the song in the later summer months of 2017 while he was squatting in a solar powered house. The song marks entry into a more dirtied, electrified sound for Kevin.

Caledonia Country is a solo album written, recorded, engineered, performed, produced, and mastered by Kevin Kareckas, in a primitive home studio.
After spending a year teaching English in Poland, Kevin Kareckas returned to Northern New England to follow his natural calling as an educator. Named after the county in Vermont where it was recorded, Caledonia Country presents an open diary of Kevin's experiences and tones of homesickness for a place that isn't quite home.
